Instructions

  1. Hold a barbell with an overhand grip wider than shoulder-width. Bend at the hips until your torso is nearly parallel to the floor.
  2. Let the bar hang at arm's length below your shoulders.
  3. Pull the bar up toward your upper chest, flaring your elbows out to the sides to target the rear delts.
  4. Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement.
  5. Lower the bar back to the starting position in a controlled manner and repeat.
