Instructions

  1. Position a barbell on your upper back, resting it on your traps. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Keeping your chest up and core engaged, begin the descent by pushing your hips back and bending your knees.
  3. Lower yourself until your thighs are below parallel to the floor, or as deep as your mobility allows.
  4. Drive through your heels to stand back up, extending your hips and knees simultaneously.
  5. Keep your knees tracking over your toes throughout the movement.
