- Position a barbell on your upper back, resting it across your traps. Stand with feet hip-width apart.
- Take a large step forward with one leg, lowering your body until both knees are bent at 90 degrees.
- Your front knee should be directly above your ankle, and your back knee should hover just above the floor.
- Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
- Alternate legs or complete all reps on one side before switching.
